The Wii MotionPlus is an add-on released for the Wii by Nintendo on June 8th, 2009 (North America).

Hardware

The Wii MotionPlus contains an InvenSense IDG-600 sensor for better accuracy in games that utilize it. Later units contained an InvenSense IDG-650.
