The design of the GyroPod.

The GyroPod was a prototype motion controller conceptualized and developed by Gyration around 2003. It later evolved into the Wii Remote, and was originally intended to be a GameCube peripheral. The rightmost part of the controller is detachable, which wasn't used officially until the launch of the Nintendo Switch.
