The Versa (short for Versatile) board was a standalone ARM board containing an early variant of the IOP, used for early testing and development of IOS before the Hollywood was ready. IOS first successfully booted on the Versa on December 22, 2005[1], and was the primary ARM-based development platform used by BroadOn for IOS until March of 2006 when the NDEV1 boards were ready.
