The '''GyroPod''' was a prototype motion controller conceptualized and developed by [[Gyration]] around 2003. It later evolved into the [[Wii Remote]], and was originally intended to be a GameCube peripheral. The rightmost part of the controller is detachable, which wasn't used officially until the launch of the Nintendo Switch.
