ios-releases.tar.7z (split into three parts for its original release) was an archive obtained in the Zammis Clark Breach containing a massive amount of development files and data related to IOS. The full contents of the archive have not been explored due to its large size and complex folder structure (as the majority of the archive's contents are nested within several layers of compressed and archived files), however it is believed to have the source code and module binaries for each release of IOS, as well as other related files.
The data in ios-releases is mostly the following things:
- Firmware images (to be used with sdboot)
- System menu WADs
- Firmware WADs
- Duplicates of the "ng/sw" development branch from BroadOn
- Duplicates of the "sc" development tree from BroadOn
- Duplicates of the "gba" development tree from Broadon
- IOS binaries
- NetCard source code
- Template private key files for a hardware security module
