Tokyo Game Show 2005, otherwise known as TGS 2005, was an event in September 2005 where the Wii Remote, which then had no official name, was revealed for the first time. The version of the Wii Remote revealed at this event was similar to the Dev Tool V2/V3, but clearly intended for public demonstration instead of the prototype given to developers.
