A Wii channel is an application shortcut used to launch titles directly from the Wii Menu. It is accessed by selecting its icon, which displays the channel’s banner in full screen along with background music. The user can then choose to start the channel, return to the Wii Menu, or move to the previous or next channel.
Stub channels
Stub channels are placeholder channels designed to introduce a new channel to users through a series of images and a brief description. Interested users can then download the full channel from the Wii Shop Channel.
