The The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword - Save Data Update Channel is a Wii channel released by Nintendo through the Wii Shop Channel around 2011.
Its sole purpose is to fix a game-breaking glitch in "The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword" by patching its save data when it is found on the console.
Despite this, it is available to all users and, along with the Wii U Transfer Tool, is one of the two channels that can still be downloaded after the Wii Shop Channel's discontinuation.
Interestingly, the European version of the channel uses version number v0, while the North American version uses v1. Other regions are yet unknown.
